A Walk to Remember

A Walk to Remember was made in 2002 and was directed by Adam Shankman. A hazing incident goes wrong when Landon Carter (Shane West) makes a kid jump off a high ladder into a pond. The kid broke his arm and leg. Landon is punished by doing various after school activities, including the high school musical. During this, he met Jamie Sullivan (Mandy Moore) who was very bookish and very religious. Landon needed help with his lines so he asked Jamie to help him. Jamie said she would if he would not fall in love with her. Day after day they were practicing lines and becoming more and more comfortable with each other. Jamie is quickly dissappointed toward Landon because he dissed her in front of his friends, she no longer helps him practice his lines. After the school Musical, Landon apoligized to Jamie and they became to be more than friends. More into their relationship, Jamie comes clean to Landon and tells him that she has Leucimia. What does Landon do? Do they stay together?

This movie was a great movie to watch. It was very sad to watch the ending because it brought back some memories. I would recomend this movie to anyone. It is a heartlifting story and is a great family movie.

Lady and the Tramp

Lady and the Tramp was a film made in 1955 produced by Walt Disney. It was Christmas morning and Jim Dear gave his wife a Cocker spaniel puppy. She had named her Lady. Lady loved being treated nicely by the couple and having company from two dogs, a Scottish Terrior named Jock and a Bloodhound named Trusty. Darling (Jim Dears wife) is expecting a baby and Lady is getting really saddened by how little the Dear's are treating her. Jock and Trusty were trying to explain to Lady what a baby was; the Schnauzer-mix known as the Tramp interupted their conversation, trying to give pointers to Jock and Trusty.

When the baby arrives, the Dear's introduce Lady to the little infant. Jim and Darling took a trip leaving Darlings sister to watch the baby and Lady. Her sister hates dogs and wouldn't let Lady near the baby at all. Lady gets into trouble with Darlings sisters two Siamese cats (Si and Am). Her sister took Lady to the vet to get a muzzle put on. Lady was frightend and had escaped into the streets. She is surrounded by street dogs and they start chasing her. Tramp see's that Lady is in trouble and comes to the rescue.That night Tramp showed Lady how he lived and spent and candlite dinner eating Italian food (spagettie). Do they end up together? I would definetly watch this movie if you like romantic dog movies!! Its a reat family movie!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs  is an animated film made in 1937. Snow White is a princess who lives with her evil stepmother, who is known as the Queen. The Queen planned to take over the kingdom when Snow White's father died. The Queen thought Snow White's beauty was surrpassing her own, so she made Snow White become a maid. She would ask her mirror daily "who was the fairest one of all." Once the mirror said that Snow White was the fairest of all the land, the Queen got jealous and had a huntsman take Snow White as far into the woods as possible to kill her. The huntsman took Snow White into the woods but didn't kill her, he begged and pleated to her to run and never to come back again. Snow White was lost and frighted untill the Seven Dwarfs found her and took her to a cottage deep in the woods!

What happens next? Does the Queen take over the Kingdom? Watch this movie and find out! I strongly recomend this movie for little kids and some adults who still like to watch movies like this! It's a great movie!

Space Jam

How would you like to be Micheal Jordan acting with the looney tunes in Space Jam? Space Jam is an American live-action/animated film. Mr. Swackhammer has a theme park on "Moron Mountain" which is failing. He sends his minions the "Nerdlucks" to capture the looney tunes. A retaliation from the looney tunes comes and they want to challenge the "Nerdlucks" in a basketball game. The "Nerdlucks" find a way to go to Earth and steel NBA talent (Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Muggsy Bouges, Larry Johnson, and Shawn Bradley) for their own talent. Once they got the talent they turned into the "Monstars" who are gigantic creatures that the looney tunes are unable to beat. The looney tunes summoned Micheal Jordan down to looney land. He insists that he is no longer a basketball player untill the Monstars come in the gym and take him for nothing.

I strongly encourage this movie. I loved it! What happens to the Looney Tunes? Do they get captured and get sent to "Moron Mountain?" Watch the movie and find out!

The Lion King

The Lion King was made in 1994 directed by Walt Disney. It takes place in Africa full of kingdoms of animals. A wild monkey (Rafiki) presents the new born baby (Simba) of the King and Queen lions (Mufasa and Sarabi) on Pride Rock to the entire kingdom. Scar is Mufasa's young brother who dis approves of the gathering to see Simba. He wants the throne for himself. As Simba was growing up he was taught about how to respect the Pride Lands. He was suppose to stay out of the Outlands ruled by the Hyenas! Scar told Simba about the elephant grave yard in the Outlands. Simba and his best friend Nala tell their parents they are just going to the swimming hole, instead they go to the Outlands and get into danger with the Hyenas. Mufasa arrived to save the cubs. Scar put together a herd of Wildbeest stampede to kill Mufasa and Simba so he could take over the thrown!! Watch the movie and find out what happens to them!!

This is one of my favorite animated films! This is a great movie to watch even though you may not be ionto animation. Walt Disney did a FANTASTIC job!!!

Enchanted

Echanted is a fairy tale. It just not the type of fairy tale you would expect! Giselle lived in Andalasia which was her animated fairy tale world where she could talk to animals. Prince Edward was her true love who saved her from a troll try to eat her! Prince Edward's stepmother wants to protect her throne so she threw Giselle into a magican portal to another world with no fairy tale happy endings!!

This movie is one of my absolute favorites! It is such a great family movie and little kid movie! I definetly encourage this movie to all. You will like it and it will cheer you up!

Roomate

How would you like a roomate in college that is overly obbsesive, irritating, malicious, deceiving, dysfunctional, psychotic, and murderous? Not me! I went to see Roommate this weekend and it really doesn't excite me to much for a college roommate. A girl named Sara (played by Minka Kelly) is new at college. She is the first one in her dorm room and picked out her own bed. She went to a party and got drunk not knowing that the punch was spiked. She got back to her dorm room and Rebeca (played by Leighton Meester) was sitting on her bed waiting. From then on Rebeca never left Sara's side and became a little obsesive. When Sara was out late with her boyfriend, Rebeca was mad and gave Sara a curfew. So Sara would spend more time with Rebeca, Rebeca punched herself and cut her own stomach open to make it look like she was beat up around the corner.

This movie was very creepy. It wasn't as scary as I thought it was going to be. The things Rebeca does (like putting a baby kitten in a dryer to burn to death) really creeped me out. If you are a creepy movie fan, than i definetly encourage you to watch this movie. If you are not a fan of creepy movies, just stay at home and was The Sound Of Music!!!!
